Me & Andy (who is he you may ask...read further to find out)

It has been awhile since I have blogged and for that I am sorry!! I do have a good reason…I now have a boyfriend. Yep, you read it right. I have been dating a wonderful guy, Andy for almost 2 months now and for that I am not sorry!! It is amazing how much life can change when you venture into the dating world. Andy and I have so much fun together…we do anything from hanging out with family at one of our houses to going to baseball games to bowling to Fundamental Elements shows. And did I mention standing out in the pouring rain with Jamey & Sheri for 4 hours waiting for a concert that ended up be cancelled???

One of our favorite times together I think was a couple of weeks ago. My brother’s band, Fundamental Elements was playing on a Friday night in Memphis. My parents decided to go over for the show and Andy happened to get off early enough that he and I jumped in my car and down I-40 we headed. We spent a fun filled evening with my parents (& my cousin Kevin) listening to my brother and his band play for a while. Then Andy and I followed my parents back to Marianna to spend the night at their house.

The next morning Andy & I both woke up earlier than mom & dad so we went out on the front porch and spent about an hour out on the front porch swing. Mom & dad got up and fixed their famous waffle, bacon & sausage breakfast…AMAZING as always!!!!
After breakfast Andy & I decided that we wanted to find an outlet mall to go to…so, we got online to see where in Memphis we would need to go. We found that there was a nice outlet mall in Tunica, Mississippi (only and hour and a half away). After stopping for sodas & peach rings we headed down the highway for shopping. As you might guess we decided after shopping that we would check out one of the many casinos. We ended up having a blast!!! We ate at Paula Dean’s Buffet…we could eat there all of the time. I left the casino with around $100. Not too shabby for starting off with $30. The drive seemed a lot longer going back to Marianna…but part of that is that my navigator fell asleep on the way back to Marianna. I was not too happy but got over it real quick.

Sunday morning we got up and went to church with mom & dad. Dad did a great job…I love hearing him preach when I get the chance. We were asked to stick around for lunch there at the church. After lunch we headed back to North Little Rock. Watched a little baseball, went out for dinner and then called it a fairly early night since we both had to be at work the next morning.

We are very blessed that not only the two of us have such a great relationship but also it means the world to me that he has a good relationship with my family and I have a good relationship with his family!!! There are a couple more tests Andy has to pass…the uncles, the great grandmother, the sister-in-law & nephew…then we should be set!!!! ;)

I cannot wait to see what God does next with Andy & me.
**Pictures to come later...don't have them loaded to my work computer!!!
