Last night my parents and I kept Chris and Kelly's girls for awhile. Macy is 5 years old and Chloe is going to be 2 in April.
Last night was one of those times that I had to walk out of the room because I started laughing when Chloe did something wrong.
Chloe has been potty trained for awhile now but she has been having some problems the last couple of days from what Kelly said.
About 30 minutes after Chris dropped the girls off Chloe looked at me and said, "Manna...accident"...in that cute toddler voice. My dad, looked at me and said, "That accident is all over the carpet too." I told her to get to the bathroom. I sat her on the toilet and started to take her shoes and socks off...the shoes...WET...her socks...100% soaked. I got her cleaned up and changed. This is the time that I had to walk out of the bathroom laughing because I didn't want her to think she had done something funny.
We handled that fine. About an hour later my mom, Macy and I were watching a movie in the living room and Chloe was back and forth from the toys to watching the movie. Not 10 minutes after we asked her if she needed to go potty and she said no here she comes into the living room running a little funny...and says, "Manna...accident". This time was not as funny. I was kind of upset because I had just asked her if she needed to go potty. I got her to the bathroom and put her on the toilet again and started pulling her clothes off and she started crying. I told her she had to sit there while I got a bath ready. I asked her the normal questions like...do we peepee in our panties?...she shook her head YES!...and I told her how sad I was which made her cry a little more. JUST TRYING TO DRILL THE POINT HOME!!! Got her in the bath not intending to let her play with toys so it would be a little punishment...well, in comes Macy. I want to take a bath too...so we ended up letting them play for a little while.
Kelly came to get them while they were still in the bath and I told her about our evening and she said that Chloe should have gotten a spanking...I told her I couldn't do that or I would have gotten in trouble with Nana for that.
Macy started crying when Kelly came in because she wanted to stay with Nana. It was such a tough time for her...she loves her Nana and hasn't gotten to spend much time with us lately.
Over all we had a fun night...I just wanted to share a little.
Chloe is so cute...she is learning more and more vocabulary.
Macy is as cute as ever...MISS PRISS. She loves to tell stories, loves to dance and sing. She is going to be an entertainer for sure!!! WATCH OUT JESSICA HERE COMES MACY!!! She is also Miss Drama Queen!!!
